Asp.Net MVC 4 Hosting issue

Recently i was trying to host Asp.net MVC4 web application ,and i faced some difficulties .so i m writing here what were the things to care , while hosting Asp.net MVC4 application -

Step 1 : Make sure Asp.net4 registered with IIS

first make sure that your iis is having application pool for asp.net 4 , if not then you can create one otherwise skip this step .please change the version according to recent framework. from command line write following command -

For 32bit(X86) windows :

%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -ir

For 64bit (X64) windows :

%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -ir

Step 2 : Remove default Url from Web.config

remove the default navigation url from the web.config because default url in asp.net mvc existed in routeconfig.cs .
routes.IgnoreRoute("{resource}.axd/{*pathInfo}"); routes.MapRoute( name: "Default", url: "{controller}/{action}/{id}", defaults: new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = UrlParameter.Optional } );

Step 3 : Add following code in Web.config -

<system.webServer>
<modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true"/>
</system.webServer>

and you are done , publish the application ... i hope it will run ;) :) .

  5. Hello would you mind sharing which blog platform
    you're working with? I'm looking to start my own blog
    soon but I'm having a difficult time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something completely unique.
    P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
